So I lost 800k worth of loot because of a bug.

    Sometimes me and my crew stack loot, we try to see how much we can stack and then we try to go higher and higher. Our biggest haul was about a million gold in one haul.

    Earlier today we were attempting to beat that, we had an estimated 800k+ haul and suddenly our ship completely glitched out and we fell through the ship and could board it with our being thrown off. We desperately tried dropping the anchor or at least grabbing the wheel and sail to the nearest outpost but we failed. 3.5 hours wasted.

    They just tweeted today that there are major bugs that needed to be fixed and a hot fix will be released at 10 am bst.

    If you still went ahead with stacking 800k that’s on you.

    @aribalam The hot fix didn't even fix this bug lol. I have no idea how a bug of this caliber made it into the game. Hopefully another 'hot fix' comes soon to fix it.

    Send a support ticket. I have in past and they were good at adjusting my gold. However that is alot though. The perils of stacking loot. I would still give messaging their support a try though especially since they acknowledged there is a bug going on.

    They offered a temporary solution, leave the game and rejoin.

    But yes, this bug sounds awful

    @galactic-geek I don't sweat it losing it to players, that's fair game. But losing to a bug is another story.

    Had the same bug today too. Happened already when I spawned in at an outpost though.
    Grabbed the ladder and I was glitching in an out at enormous speed and couldn't even board.

    Tip:
    Until this is fixed, try to have a rowboat and scuttle your ship if need be.
    All on the rowboat and hope that the frames won't kill you. ^^
