As one of the players who has been enjoying this fantastic game for over three years now, I have the Golden Legendary items that was awarded for becoming a PL during year one.
The PL items and cosmetics are purple, golden with bluish Athena's Fortune symbols. This is reflected on most cosmetics.
The hulls both have yellow paint, and this is probably due to how you made ship cosmetics three-four-five years ago.
Now, after seeing for example the Dark Warsmith(?) shipset in the Pirate Emporium, I see that you have nailed gold looking like gold.
My suggestion is as follows:
Change the color on both Legendary hulls from the yellow paint to gold, giving the entire shipset a more gilded look.
The same gold you have used on the cannons, capstan, golden figurehead and wheel would make such a difference on the hull paint, and make it look more like the rest of the items.
Maybe even make the athena logos in front if the hull on both sides, glow a little?
