Hi, I'm currently playing the game on PC and I got it from the Microsoft Store. Today should be the launch of the steam version and I'm really looking forward to buy it, if my game progress can be overtaken by Steam. Could somebody tell me if that's the case?
When does the game launch today, It's still not available for me...

Once you own the game on Steam and launch it for the first time you will be asked to sign in with your Gamertag/Microsoft Account - this is where the linking magic will happen.
@musicmee Thank you very much! So I'm guessing if I want to launch the game through Steam, a purchase is necessary, even if I already bought the game in the Microsoft Store?
@corstris Correct - If you are wanting to play this game via Steam a purchase via their store is necessary.
But if you have the game already and are happy with it -I would stay where you are. There are no differences in build only the place you are getting it from.
