I play on a fall out 4 edition. X box. Most of the pvp I experience slows my console to a rate where I can count the frames this only happens when higher frame rates Are near me how do I. Get rid of this problem?
Why do others bring down my fps
@xxmikeokeo69xx try to behave yourselves please need good answers that fix thos problem without buying more Microsoft stuff
- Get a new console or pc
- Are you seriously duplicating another thread after a moderator told you not to do it and after the last three got locked
Your definitely going to get banned 😂
@fllw3rb0y shouldn't have to it's the interaction between consoles an sytems I will buy it all as soon as the money arrives
@xxmikeokeo69xx dude, the consoles dont interact AT ALL. the consoles interact with the server, your console obviously cant process the data sent by the server fast enough.
@xxmikeokeo69xx I tried to suggest this in one of the other threads but it got locked. I know this will seem random, but are you using wireless to connect to the network? If so, try connecting the Xbox via a cable. Also make sure the connection type shows open in the network settings. You may need to make some changes on your router to have an open connection. I used to have a lot of unexpected behavior in games that I would not have expected to go away using a physical network cable. I would have laughed to myself if someone had suggested it on a forum, but it actually made a big difference on some things. It would take just a few minutes and you have nothing to lose for trying.
BTW, I respect that you didn’t give up trying to work through this. I know you’ve had a rough time but if you give us a chance then some of us would like to try to help you with a better experience. What you are experiencing is not typical and I can see why you would be frustrated.
@ghostpaw I am using a line it's got to be the console so I have done everything beside buy into the fps ward
What I want to know is how you know its FPS related when you don't have an FPS counter on your system.
Other players have no bearing on your frames dropping. Just because someone has better frames doesn't mean your frames drop to nothing. Thats not how multiplayer works. So lets clear up that misunderstanding first.
Next, which version of the xbox are you running and how good is your internet connection?? You are playing a multiplayer game online with no ping/fps counter that will verify whether or not you are just getting high ping or lower frame rates.
Also are you playing on your friends server?? Joining other people or are you making the game??
PC is fair and even. Differences are only slightly minimal.
@xultanis-dragon not from what I seen on pc. It's the first gen xbox one and I been gaming online over a decade it's not lag but fps dropping that's why it seems like everyone moves fast and I move slow it's the fps I cant tell the second it drops not every single frame also have the top 1% as far as eyesight rubberbanding is lag attributed but not drops in frame rate that's new to this console wasn't a issue in 360 cause the fps was the same across. It's like there is too much information for my console to make sense of hence the slow down but it's an xbox One. I had the same thing on happen with a bad port on n64 you get into the action super slow fps even them days

That's lag
Dude there is no way to tell if you are losing frames or ping because it does the same exact thing. Once the game catches up with frames or ping everything speeds up to load everything.
I've been playing games my whole life, so its not other players.
Could be your box though. Xbox one original is one of the worst systems to play this game on. Check your internet connection, make sure you aren't joining someone's game is on the opposite side of the world.
Also realize that with quarantine in effect, the internet is at max load in some areas.
SIDE NOTE I don't know if you were trying to imply this but just to make sure. You aren't implying that players with higher frame rates have faster movement in games are you??
@xxmikeokeo69xx My wife and I run the game on OG Xbox Ones (we each have our own) and we do not experience what you are describing. Either your console is malfunctioning or there is a network issue working against you.
@xxmikeokeo69xx then everybody will be at 12 frames lol, kinda stupid to ask for that if its your fault.
@treefittymonsta Nope it won't. I have a custom rig: Ryzen 9 3950x, Nvidia 2080 TI.. I still get lag and severe frame loss at times when there are a lot of ships in the area. The problem is with the servers and it should be easy to upgrade the resources, assuming they are virtual machines "in the cloud". If they fixed the servers they could also fit more ships on a server for more action and epic battles.

Pretty sure they can't get more ships on the server due to the hardware limitations of the Xbox One S.
i eperience this also sometimes, ship appears, lag, framedrops, then it sometimes becomes stable again, but it also happened to me, that i have lagspikes during the encounter, some of my crew also, but not allways all of my crew expereince it.
I had also crashes while my crew kept fighting, i could login back immediately.
All on PC, not up to date, but a good gamer laptop 3 years old with i7 Kabylake, 16gb RAM, 1070GTXsometimes i was close to say they are using something to make ou lag or even dc, because its not allways and feels shallow, but i doubt it, as i also had this with another in my crew, but the 2 others did not have any problems. mixed pc/xbox crew with xbox not lagging, when i do.
