it would be a cool reward to have tattos or equipment for turning a number of specific items in. for example if you turned in 1000 devils roar rum crates you could get a tankard made out of a red broken/shattered rum bottle. this would further encourage players to turn in specific loot items. it would also be cool to see tattos based on loot turned in like a reapers chest based tatto ( i would probably choose the cursed chests because they have the coolest lore but any chest really could work. and we dont want those lame monochrome tattos either, if i have a chest of sorrows chest the tears better be blue.

I could see so many things working. Nearly every item in the game has a 'sell this many' commendation, and they all have differences in styles - you could see the gold and red skull of a captain's chest decorating the bow of someone's ship, or a set of merchant plants being repurposed into a larger beard by a pirate, or a stronghold skull being used as a lantern. Rare could easily accomplish this and bring attention to those widely ignored commendations.
He means a set themed around the castaway's chest, or at least an item. The Castaway Bilge Rat set is themed around being made of whatever's on hand.
