Pretty disappointed in this decision of only random lucky players gets ancient coins. I've been playing since day one ALOT and I'm PL 10. which means.... the Christmas days didnt get much but some dabloons. The random distribution thing was a mess up and I'll tell you why. There are people that have this game that dont even play it and they're getting ancient coins in their account. While I'm playing if notevery day at least every other day and got nothing. I feel like this wasnt a Christmas gift at all but maybe an incentive to get people to play. Well I'll tell you I dont even feel like playing now. Theres already a random lucky chance for people to get the coins by finding the ancient coin guy. If you were going to give coins you should have seen which players have been active in the last few months and distributed them that way!

Massive Agreement here. I play nearly everyday. And having 5000 extra doubloons that I can't spend on anything wasn't a good xmas gift. I could convert it to gold, but I have nothing left to buy with gold either. Ancient Coins for all players would have been a great gesture during the holidays, or even just for recently active players. But all my friends got 500 coins for xmas and I got none. How is that fair? A friend of a friend who played one day this year got 750 coins and still isn't coming back to play. I'm personally going to give any pirate that says they got them a hell of a time in game. I got a lot of xmas aggression to get out thanks to this bone head move.
Come on out and we can gladly settle upon the seas. Just don't be too upset when you are on the bottom with Spongebob.
I feel the same. I have been playing pretty much everyday since March 2018. I did not receive anything either nor did 2 of my crewmates.
There could have been a nicer way to gift players. A gift that made the entire community feel appreciated would have been nice.
Making some feel less worthy or less valued than others is not a great way to spread christmas cheer.
It's a perfect way to divide the community and cause arguments and hurt people's feelings though.
@galactic-geek do you remember you original count of coins? If so then just get online and set sail. If you got some then you would know. Some people got an email telling them what they got but I didn't receive an email.
