Suggestion: Make your own crew logo! (For sails, flags, etc.)

@alphacenturion2 Yeah I know that people will abuse it, and that is why a system to report flags could work.

Another thing they could maybe do is ask people in the community to check flags before they are allowed to be shown. So that people who are active, reliable, and want to do this, can check each flag before they are accepted.
That would probably never happen though, since companies usually don't want to hand any task to the community. :p

Anyways, I personally really wouldn't matter seeing inappropriate things, report them, and be able to enjoy my own awesome custom flag. ;)

I would love to be able to upload and use my old flag from my Pirates of the Buning Sea days. :)

Seems like many people would like to be able to upload images.
Even though I am no fan, since so many people want this, that may be the way to go for Rare.
It's just that images scare me more in terms of inappropriate content than being able to make an own logo. :p

@angrycoconut16 Yeah it would be great if we at LEAST had this type of customisation.

I just wish that we could indeed have a totally unique flag. So you can recognise players by it, or show off your awesome design. That's what I loved so much about that CoD system(That is also used in more games but I'll refer to it as this. :p).
And I actually didn't see it abused THAT much. Less than I expected at least. :p

PotBS solved that problem by having submissions curated, managed by a mix of a staff and community approval system. So in the end, nobody sailed around with inappropriate content, or even thematically inappropriate.

I'm just afraid that systems like that take a lot of time? Especially if human eyes have to check the flags?

@aaronblueeyes Yeah maybe sails shouldn't be fully customisable. Idk.
As long as we'd be able to do the flag, I'm more than happy. XD But sails would be cool too. Yet since there already are sails in the game, I doubt they'd do that.

After thinking on this for a while, maybe completely custom sails shouldn't be a thing. But completely custom Jolly Rogers is still a thing I want. :3
