Please move the ammo refill crate out from under the armory box on the wall. I can't tell you how many times i've sprinted to the ammo box for a refill to repel a kraken or another player and instead i get stuck floundering in the weapon select menu.
Please move ammo crate away from armory box
@captnsarcasmcsg I whole hardily agree to this change. I do not know how many countless times i go into armory when i'm trying to grab ammo.
@captnsarcasmcsg Akin to this, move the bell away from the ladder. I can't tell you how many times I've sprinted to go up into the Crows Nest and ended up ringing the damn bell over and over again.
@captnsarcasmcsg Me and my friend mention this every time we play. It's infuriating. I'm glad someone brought it up!
@captnsarcasmcsg I personally think we should be able to pick the ammo box up and put it where ever we want
@captnsarcasmcsg
Amen to that brother. On PC when that happens, I have to reach up for the Escape key to exit the menu and it's gotten me killed a few times when trying to reload with enemies in the hull. Very frustrating. The other place where this happens to me a lot is when trying to climb the ladder to get into the crows nest and instead the bell rings. Fighting with that is a pain too.The only trick I have found that seems to work is to look down at your feet before pressing your "use" key.
@bryanexmachina
It's especially frustrating when you're trying to sneak up on a ship and want to climb up just to go DING DING DING DING@captnsarcasmcsg what it is, its the action box that is too big. it needs to be squared down and fixated to the cabinet it is meant for. not the air
Personally I don't think there even needs to be a separate ammo box on the ship, it should just be the weapon locker on its own, with one button prompt to change weapons (F on PC) and another prompt for reloading (R on PC), so that way as long as you press the right button when facing it you will always get the expected outcome.
That way you would also be able to reload your ammo while at an outpost using the weapon locker outside the weapon vendor instead of having to switch to a random weapon and then switch back again.
@bryanexmachina The thought of that happening made me chuckle a little. Only because of the frantic ringing of the bell, heh.
As for the suggestion I agree. It's a minor change, but would be a great one.
@bryanexmachina same for me when going down from the crows nest especially if you have barrels up top sometimes the action to go down doesn’t appear and I end up ringing the bell endlessly xD
@nightmare247365 i'm not sure they would want to do that, The entire game they are teaching the player through other button pop ups and prompts, use this button to activate, pick up, or use an item. To change that would break the conventions they have set for the UI. Just simply moving the boxes location would simplify the issue with out confusing the player with "which button do I press for this mechanic now."
@blackbeard-lufy a dit dans Please move ammo crate away from armory box :
This is a non-issue. Look down more before hitting the action button.
I'll send you back right to one of your own answer on another post Mister "it's an issue only when i decide it's an issue" :
It's a simple quality of life addition that could be included. Stop being a white knight thinking the game is infallible and excluded from scrutiny. Like I said previously, it isn't a major issue by any means, but it would certainly be a welcome change.
I think maybe part of it is to add a confusion to battles. Fighting should be crazy and hectic, but does not feel like that too much.
Fire cannons, repair unground, launch yourself.
I think it also prevents someone from sitting on the ammo box and just spamming the reload/reammo button everytime they have boarded and take out an enemy ship.
I think either making it a different button or keeping it as is adds a bit of difficulty.

Maybe they should lock the FPS at 10 FPS too, it would add a bit of difficulty. Oh and maybe they also should make that the game crash every once in a while, randomly, to add a bit of difficulty, and the buttons to swap weapons should be super unresponsive on purpose, to add a bit of difficulty.
Please, never be a designer for any type of product. For C****t sake.
@cebelicus lol fine, I get it. I take back my earlier response. I should've said "i've never taken notice of this issue though I may have been affected by it without realizing" as @Aenima123 called me out for hypocrisy earlier, it is a simple quality of life change.
@aenima123 I am sorry you are so triggered by something I said, but no need for a personal attack on me or calling out @Blackbeard-Lufy for saying it is not an issue.
We have all been on these forums for quite some time and all of us are active participants. While we may not agree with the same point of view as you do not mean we are wrong.
Is it inconvenient that the ammo box is directly beneath the Armory box? Yes. Is it strategically put there? Yes. Does it sometimes cause misclicks or death in the game? Yes. Does it need to be moved? No.
As I stated in my argument if they moved the ammo box it could cause griefing if it is moved to a more easily accessible area. It needs to be out of the way. I also think it was done for a strategy so someone cannot just sit on the ammo box and reload while waiting for someone to respawn on the ship. A bit of confusion can save a respawning player from instant death. It can also make it feel a bit more difficult and panicky if you miss click.
So please read the comments, comprehend them, then make posts without being toxic, the community already has too much of that going around.
