@Rare If the intent or purpose of the reaper chest is to provoke and add PVP to the game for a set item. I think it would be within reason to have a 10-15 minute window where the chest is unable to be sold.
The reasoning behind this is, people are just purely spawning in, checking to see if a chest is off the coast of the outpost. If it's within a block, the chest is instantly sold, then the player leaves the server. I propose adding a soft timer that once a chest has been touched by a player, there is a window where it's unsellable. The purpose is to attempt to slow down those who do server hop in order to purely farm the doubloons.
These chest currently have the same functionality as when the forts were 3 hours apart. After players finished the fort, they would leave to find another, weather they won or not.
The reason why I'm asking for a slight timer between, is because I've seen on reddit. " How do I get to PL, or farm doubloons." -- "Oh, I just look for the squirly icon. If I don't see it on my server, I leave."
Bonus topic: I'd actually low key be interested in keeping the visual swirl even after it's in the possession of a ship. This way from a distance, it's still the same visual - since people tend to just look for that, rather then on the map. It would disappear when a ship is within a block, of the other ship, so not be distracting for a fight.
