Gather round and hear a tale. A tale of a pirate and Lady Karma putting him in his place.
Like many of my voyages I was on Sloop with my buddy and we were just getting underway. When suddenly another Sloop was behind us and gave chase.
We ran for awhile, not afraid of combat, but generally just not interested in it. But, the other guy was persistent.
We decided it was time to go on offense. We got him to chase straight behind and I jumped off hoping to anchor his ship to give my buddy time to turn around and begin the barrage. The tactic worked and I was able to kill the pirate and my buddy laid into his ship. However, my friend made a mistake and was going to fast and overshot leaving me stranded on the other ship. Pirate respawns and lands a lucky 1HK with the Blunderbuss.
I respawn and now we are chasing him. We try to out maneuver and the other pirate makes, what turns out to be, a fatal mistake...he passes too close to a Skellie ship which instantly goes on attack.
We get hit by incidental fire and our anchor drops. We scramble to get back on the move and suddenly Megalodon appears and engages the other pirate. So now old boy is dealing with Meg, Skellie ship, and us.
To his credit he keeps his boat afloat while under constant attack. That is until, Poseidon king of the sea has had enough and sends his final beast to finish off the other guy......The Kraken!
We anchor just outside of the ink of The Kraken and watch as it ensnares both the pirate and the Skellie ship side by side. Within a few moments, the sloop slides beneath the waves and down into Davy Jones's Locker.
Beware fellow pirates! You never know when the seas have favored another ship and will punish you for harassing it's new favorite ship.
