Tall Tales French Translation is messed up. Minor spoilers ahead of "The Revenge of the MorningStar".

  • Hello everyone, as a French player of Sea of Thieves I feel obligated to report a very inaccurate translation during "The Revenge of the MorningStar" Tall Tale. In fact, the "secret skeleton code" is very messed up in French, the translation are just the primary meaning, like face is translated "Visage" which means "a face" and not "face a direction", "setting sun" is translated "paramètre soleil", in this case setting means option as in "In-Game setting" and not "sunset" as it is meant. This poor translation can make it VERY hard to actually work with the riddles without translating back to English.

In Spanish "setting Sun" has been translated by something that means "prepare the sun" o.O. Anyways it was easy to understand since the oposite, sunrise, was well translated.

Also there are some minor problems like overlaped texts.

  • I second this. This tale has a really poor translation.
Would not surprise me if they just blindly used Google Transalate word for word.

And the Tyler thing. How hell "Shipwreck Cove" or "Shipwreck Cay" could possibly lead us to Sunken Grove?
