Skull Keep not working

  • This is the second time I have been to Skull Keep to do the skull fort, and the skeletons stop spawning when I finish a wave. I don't know what's wrong, but I hope you can fix it.

  • @cpt-crazzyxx ahoy there! Certainly sounds like a bug -- be sure to wander the island listening for their chattering sounds; sometimes they get stuck in the wall, and take a few minutes before the game realizes something is wrong and despawns them to allow the next wave. Another fix I've heard of (though never tried) is killing yourself and any other pirates on the island (this force-respawns all the skellies).

Good luck clearing those strongholds in the future, hope this bug gets resolved!

  • @cpt-crazzyxx Happens to my crew from time to time. I have found if you guys all die it will reset the wave. We just all pop a barrel and respawn, fixes it.

  • @cpt-crazzyxx I have ran into this bug before and like @itsDavgee said, resetting the island will fix it. Either sail away and come back or better yet kill off your whole crew, just make sure your ship is safe from the cannons when you do this.

  • FYI to everyone who posted before me, you can also all take a mermaid at the same time. Usually easier to just die, but this will work as well.

  • @vorondil1 me and my crew searched the island both times and still nothing.

  • @cpt-crazzyxx There is one spot in the fort by the stairs that they fall into. You will hear it nearby but likely won't see it. Slash at the corner of the steps and you should be able to kill it.

Might be a different fort I'm thinking of, but one of them has this problem.

  • Killing all players on the island will reset the wave. As mentioned, a gunpowder can send you back to the Ferry of the Damned nice and quick. If no gunpowder can be found, just jump out of the crow's nest until you collapse under your own weight.
