the volcano's have homing shots and why does the kraken seem to spawn right after you leave a port im sorry no creature should ever lurk that close makes it unfair as some of us have yet to defeat that beast I mean at this point I will quit playing until this game is fixed adding some new stuff made it fun for bit but its just the same old repetitious game play it gets old devs

The Kraken will never spawn on you whilst an event is active. Keep a fair eye in the skies for the Skeleton Ship or the Giant Skeleton Skull. If you see neither of those active, then 1 out of the 6 ships in your server will likely be attacked by a kraken. Time your run to and from the outpost well and you will never be troubled by the beast again.
And as for the volcanoes, keep your distance and there is nothing to worry about. If you are solo slooping, when you go ashore, make sure your escape route is planned beforehand and the sails are turned into the wind to make a hastily escape.The Devil's Roar is a dangerous area. Don't venture there and expect an easy ride.
