So... I bringed 13 players to play this game, one of them 2 days before the announce of the Friends play free event, and now they're letting players that dont supported the game at all and refused to play it even after his popularity rise before christmas, have one of the most exclusive sets that, and everyone should remember, was tied to a real world money exclusive promo?
I can only laugh, we've all been pirated XD (and hell, I had the mercenary set since the second month, the only stuff ingame I dont have are the Ferryman and the Banana sets...)
@urihamrayne dijo en Mercenary Set - Friends Play Free:
You guys are getting over 50 new cosmetic items in the new mega update, yet you find it in you to quarrel over a singular set of cosmetics, "the great Rare BETRAYAL", more like the great community entitlement and misguided outrage. Had you guys had similar passion to complain about the quests in this game, perhaps the mega update would've come in 2018.
First things first: you dont know whats comming in the mega update. If we look the last year, maybe they release one or two cosmetic sets, and run away... the second part is that everyone complains about quest and other stuff, but if op dont, that doesn't make this "promo fail" less bad for the loyal customers.
Rare get attacked hard after Cursed Crews Barrel 2-0 debacle (with reason) because they didn't communicate enough, and now they've fallen in the same error (after they told that they were going to be more transparent in the future) telling about this promo AFTER the event.
They get attacked too after the first wave of cosmetics being tied to exclusive events and promos, and they anounced they were going to open to all people the exclusive cosmetics after a delay because they don't wanted the ebay speculative market, and now they commit a similar error opening an exclusive set only for a chosen portion of the playerbase (the less loyal, indeed). Should I fear that I'm not going to get the Spinal Figurehead if Rare changes their plans another time? This kind of stuff makes customers to dont trust in your old words, actually, and thats the real problem.
