Skeleton ships, quick sink?

  • Don't know if this is allowed, but here is a video of me and my crew sinking a Skeleton ship in 20 seconds.

    Anyone done it faster?

  • Gunpowder, protect holes....easypeasy.

  • @reapinglegion

No gunpowder needed with this one.

  • @failedbread Yea, i have used cursed cannonballs while soloslooping and it's also easy AF.
Now you were on a bigger boat and had more firepower but still, theres many easy ways...can't understand how people have troubling sinking them.

  • If you are lucky enough to have a few "Ballast" cursed balls, they sink real easy, & just pepper their hull with a ton of standards intermixed with "Ballast" & your done.
Solo... did this in under 30 seconds.. wasn't keeping a proper count
Was very much a "Wow" moment... well pleased.

  • seems about average for my crew. ballast balls if we have em, gunpowder if we don't.

  • I did one solo yesterday, I didn't time it but it was the quickest I've ever done. Just hit with a couple of cannonballs, followed by a peaceball, lock supplies ball and ballastball. Then bombarded it with the rest of my handful of regular cannonballs. At a guess, I think it was about 25-35 seconds. They didn't even get a chance to hit me at all. I was delighted at that.

  • Nicely done!

  • @realstyli

    Ours didn't hit us either.

  • On a well crewed galleon, we sank an emergent ship (came up out of water with the music warning just before) in maybe 6 seconds. All 4 of us were on the cannons as it emerged. A peace ball and a ballast ball were shot first, with all four of us pummeling it right into the sink with the 40 balls between us. It was the perfect setup and have yet to be able to repeat that performance since. It was a beautiful sight. If it were not for us just happened to be perfectly ready with the cursed balls in our resources (we are usually scrambling to get balls from below deck when the music hits), and the fact that we were full speed and the skelly ship is programmed to match that speed keeping it right in perfect place to unload a full volley. It could not get any better.

I really need to get better at capturing these events with the 'replay' feature.

    EDIT
Just watched the video. What I just posted looked very similar. So I would say my '6 seconds' was inaccurate and probably matched the 20 seconds of the video.

  • Been there, done that, got the T-Shirt.....fun, isn't it?

Key is to hit 'em hard and fast with three cannons when the ship first surfaces.

    Nice work.

  • @hazeree

We did think it was about 10 seconds at first, then timed it on the replay and go 20 seconds, very fast, not seen a video of someone doing it from Start to finish quicker.
