Well those that cared I died living a pirates life. I defended the grog to the very last drop but was overwhelmed by the enemy including my crew.
They stranded on Mutineer Rock with the grog and sailed around telling every ship that there was a free Chest of grog on Mutineer rock.
I fought and fought and kept drinking in-between but it ended when two Alliance galleon crews came upon my island and started killing each other. I yelled "PARLEY" and they took me to their captain. He demanded that I would give him the grog, I told him "you can bath in the bilge where you came from!" killed him and most of the 8 man crew but then I was shot in the back escaping with the grog. I died when I hit the island leaving my dead body and The grog.
All I can say it was fun but I failed all ye pirates out their, I'm sorry. But I reached 724 grogs... Let me story be a good one at least from the adventure I just had

'Tis a pie-rat's life fer me.@admiral-rrrsole I do have a rough time, It takes 14 seconds roughly to drink and refill. so that gives you 4.3 (60/14) grogs a Minute. 1000grogs/4.3grogs a minute gives you 3:50 (232 minutes) minutes to drink a full chest roughly.
That's the math I got after being killed, I may be a pirate with stories and skill but im not stupid like some. Please check over the math if you care to and the time it takes to drink grog, I will soon get a video/ stream going once I find a grog chest.

It would probably take me a lot longer than 14 seconds just to refill (in an intoxicated state) even if I was sitting on the bloody grog chest. hic
It sounds like there may have been 1,000 grogs within the chest, but only 724 within your mortal frame.
I gladly offer my service as a crewman/drinkman to cut that time, and those drinks, in half, good sir (stinkin' pirate).

To be fair, we have one person saying it is confirmed there are only 1000, and one person saying it is confirmed it is unlimited. If anything he's adding to the fun.
