I don't really like the three week system...

    I know why it's there, too make poeple play during the full three weeks, but it also makes so you only have one week that you can do a certain thing and it is harder to do everthing if you are on vacation every now and then.

    I want to remove the system and figure out a new way to keep people playing all weeks.

    Maybe you can make it so that the first week stays when the second enters. So if you missed something during the first week you can try and do it with less time during the second and third week.

    @andreas5524 the only difference week wise (looking at the commendations) is which cursed cannonballs each crew will use, and as far as i am aware if you would be unable to play a single week all you would miss is a measly 15 doubloons

    @andreas5524 you will still get the titles, just the commendations (worth 5 doubloons per crew per week) would be unavailable to you after it passed.

    Btw funniest thing ever, you dont have to actually be in the battle if one of the ships in your alliance finnishes it you will get all the reward without the trouble, (also counts their sinkings towards your commendations) maybe something you could abuse to still get them ;-)

    I don't think it's about that. The whole Wanda quest is pretty cool. I like the investigation. It's exactly what SOT needs....and it will be here only for a week. What a waste of development resources.

    @captain-surgee the meg quest was cool too. After this event ends what will even be left in the game? If it's just a new ai threat I'll be sad.

    @captain-surgee I don't think we know yet if theres gonna be a new part to the Wanda quest next or the following week yet, and even if there is something additional I imagine the first part will be available for the three weeks.

    I hope they eventually add a way to "reactivate" old story quests in a given server. Maybe at some point they could put a journal in the taverns that you can use to choose from a list of old quests to activate.

    Otherwise it's a pretty big shame that they're putting all this work into these things only for them to largely be gone forever after such a brief amount of time.
