Stashing pirate booty

I sail along ne most of the time so typically when I run into a full galleon crew I am overpowered and looted of my treasure. So I started stashing treasure chests on islands in heavy vegetation so if a crew comes upon me while I am looking for multiple chests on an island they may dunk my ship and kill me, but most times they never find my stashed booty and I just sail back, finish my treasure hunting and collect all the chest when I am ready to sail to an out post to turn them in.
What I am thinking is an idea for being able to burry my treasure instead of hiding it above ground. When you would burry ypur loot you would receive s map showing where it is and it would stay buried till You dig it up, You leave the server or someone else digs it up before the server restarts. If by chance you failed to collect your buried treasure before you leave your map could show up in a bottle on a nearby shore telling your booty dtash location.
This would make the grind of voyage quest a little more interesting. Honestly I have been ignoring the grind of the voyage quest for the 3 orders of late and instead sailing around looting sunken ships and finding maps in bottles and random treasure on the islands. That to me is s bit more pirate than the grind of the voyage quests.
It would be nice to see more treasure when exploring. I find treasure doing such now but not much.....there should be more incentive to explore instead of just leveling up by getting voyage quests. The voyages tell you where to go, I want to explore and be rewarded for diligent treasure hunting..... just my two cents
