I play on Xbox1, was playing solo and once again I was booted just prior to my turn-in. Nothing amazing (6 chests, 1 skull, 1 tea) but it was my 45-50 mins worth of work, and it sucked to see it go down the drain.
Why is there no way to re-log back to our previous ship and instance in solo play? It would be really great if we could, and also get rid of this c****y feeling when your effects are wasted, and it wasn't even fellow pirates who did it to you.
Worst thing ever. With more players leaving the game and server hopping galleons, this could happen more often in the near future.
What are we supposed to do? Sail into the outpost as soon as we grab ONE chest? Just to be safe? I don't mind a good fight for my treasure. Pirates or Kraken - rain a bloody storm on me! But telling me it happens without ANY chance to save me from it - and it is DESIGNED that way!?!?!? ...Come on, RARE.

this time I'll be the one who says no to this. When you disconnect, your ship disappears and makes room for someone else to join the instance. If it stayed up, you'd see a lot of servers with ghost ships. Especialy those, where the skull isn't up at that moment...
you could argue for like an offline save, where the ship disappears but is stored in memory, so you respawn with everything you had in another instance, but that'd get exploited soooo much...
I would recommend trying to find a team mate for a sloop. If you dont have any xbox live frienlivehat play i would advise checking out the Sea of Thieves Discord server. It seems to be a nice community of people who are legit interested in adventures instead of trolling. Then if you get kicked your new friend could send you a quick invite back in to the game so you dont lose your hard work

When you disconnect, what actually happens is that your ship auto-scuttles and then doesn't respawn. All that players need is a small window to return to their ship, if they fail to do so in that time period, it auto-scuttles like normal.
