Loot should have a given value (whether flat or an rng range like it is now) that gets SPLIT among the crew.

  • I think it works fine as it is right now and honestly, when playing solo you just have to accept that it's not going to be as safe for you :p I don't think it makes a big difference in efficiency though, you just have to play im a different way from how you play in a galleon.

Since i play quite a lot solo, i've learned how to do it fairly well, and i'm usually more efficient alone than with random crews.

Other than that i think that unfortunately this could cause people to troll and grief randoms because they could just do everything in their power to make ppl leave before turning chests in, just to get more gold.

  • No. Just no. Your idea rewards more solo play (not what SoT should be about), and makes it so that 3 good people are better off as a 3 man crew then 3 good and a new player. Again, not what SoT should be about.
The way it is now it works perfectly. Solo players do get less XP/hour, more reason for you to find a crew.

All this idea does is make less players more advantageous. What other reason could you possibly have?

  • @the-song42 As a solo slooper, the sloop definitely goes faster into the wind. Gotta keep yourself (and the galleon chasing you) going directly into the wind. Even a slight curve on the wind for the sail to catch and a galleon can catch up.
