I saw a guy run on water at super speed.
I saw someone using shotgun like a machine gun with no reload needed. I even had someone come onto our boat dance and we could not kill him. We had to use shotgun to bounce him off.

This has happen a ton today. I take it a new hack just rolled in for the game. So not only is this game poorly balance, and lacks content, but people now got to hack to have fun in it.

@rager82 how is the game poorly balanced? there are no stats to balance.

You are not the only one playing since beta, also This game has put me in a bad mood with how Rare handle it. So I am taking my voice as a consumer and voicing it. Hoping that people will see it and hold off getting this game. The only power of a consumer I have is to warn others. So cupcake, what you call whining, I call being a good consumer.

oh and I don't care if you have not seen them yet. You will, if you play as much as I have.

@rager82 seriously, this topic and unchecked greafers are blowing up the boards right now. I’m more shocked at the people going “nuhuh not to me” like woopty doo, it still happened to someone else. And in the same post, are the proud trolls taking credit and instigating more! I was so excited for this game and it’s so beautiful.

I wish they did like borderlands and will let us set the server to friends only. I hate toxic players.

You can't report them. Their names don't show up. That's another thing! They are masking themselves.

So here is the list of things I have seen so far.

Can't kill a guy, but the guy did not fight back. So we knocked him off with shotgun.
Super speed skipping over water.
Teleport hack onto our boat. We know because they just appeared right in front.
Shotgun machine gun with no clip.

I have now seen multiple people posting about 'machine gun blunderbuss'.
The walking on water 'could' be lunge. It 'could' be a hack. Would need more witnesses.
I have personally been one-shot with a saber while the person survived three blunderbuss shots.
I'm not stating that cheating is a 'major' problem, but yeah, it's a thing.
FYI: Autodefending cheaters tends to make people think you are one. Why would people be so against a warning?

@rulingspark5527 if there is hacking going on, Rare needs to work on an anti-cheat program and implement it soon. Personally, I haven't run across any cheaters, though.

I thought that also, but this guy was skipping over the water like a rock. Like the beta old charge with the sword. No ship was around, he was heading straight for the fort at super speed across the water.

@rager82 I don't disbelieve you, only stating there is a similar mechanic in game. If nothing to start a lunge from then likely a hack. If distance long, likely a hack.

Ya as someone else said it could be a bug also. That is another reason why I posted on here.

I simply don't understand the desire to cheat in a game. Does it give them a sense of accomplishment? What's the benefit?

Oh well. Report them.
