"Bored" posters in a nutshell

Imagine it being a sinking ship instead though, and there you have '' imagine your own adventure'' '' Create your own fun'' Game is fun, don't get me wrong... i no life played it all day today and had a blast. But i know it will get boring very soon, and i do feel it with how it currently is, i also know it will go down hill when other people realise it aswell. But! i do hope this game does well. I feel most people saying it's boring just want the game to have some changes, they like part of the game but want abit more y'know? meanwhile other people only think of the fun they had just then and don't think about how they will feel 10-50 hours later

Eh, I'll only apply that if they walk into unrelated (usually positive) threads and start spouting off about how we should all hate the game like they do.

If they want to post their concerns in their own threads, thats fine by me. Goodness knows this game needs fleshing out. But what we have is fun and well made, so that'll tide me over (har hARRR) for now :)

Granted, if people are enjoying the game then that's good for them. The issue I personally find is that when it comes to discussion on the quality of the game, it's release and development and what could be improved, many of the people enjoying the game defend it with null points, such as 'but i'm having fun', whilst those that are not so supportive are making valid and relevant points as to what the issues are and how they could be improved.

There's still a lot of over zealous blind adoration of the game here on the forums, and those people will love and support the game, that is, until the next pretty tech demo with an unusual theme comes out, and they can all rush over to support that.

I've seen a few users (very few) on here that both enjoy the game, and agree that it has many issues that need to be dealt with. Those are the people this game needs / needed. It seems to me the bulk of the pioneers / insiders were not massively helpful in the games development due to blidly adoring everything about it just because they we're allowed in early.

i kept seeing this game as an early access game.. must forget i'm not on steam no longer.. To be honest i don't even know why i come on these forums to post my thoughts when you're right. the game is finished and released lol... sorta have to wait for a sea of thieves 2 at this point.

Most are not saying there is no fun to be found. Many (myself included) are having a lot of fun but can easily foresee it growing old very fast. Lots of players are only playing due to using a free trial of the Game Pass, if the game doesn't hold people past next week (which I don't think it will), it will be dead in the water (pun fully intended).

this is true, i'm on a 14 day free trial right now. The game is $100+ in newzealand, and as the game is after trying it. i wouldn't even pay $40, this is not to say the game is horrible, the game is damn beautiful... to look at.. and the gameplay is alright to satisfy someone for a little while... But long term no.. it's like a job once you do the same thing 1000 times.. what do you even spend your money on once you have the look you want?

This is great. One of the guys I work with had a similar view on it and believes everyone got ripped off. I was playing with my brother and two of my friends last night and he joined our party and was all like, "Yo, why do y'all insist on playing this game? It died on the day of launch and there is literally nothing to do but the same quests over and over again." This is the same guy who bought a PS4 just to play No Man's Sky, and according to him is the game that is going to change gaming forever (he still plays it).

I have mentioned this in a few other threads, but the game does need a variety of content in future updates. I am happy with the launched game though. I think it is a great foundation to build on and I see myself staying active for quite sometime so $60 was not all that bad.

No Mans Sky? Ew. Elite Dangerous is by far and away the better all-round game.

The problem is the ball is flat.

Edit: Don't get me wrong, the pitch is beautiful, and me and my friends are having a great chat while we're here, but we're probably just going to get a different ball.

haha i love this post i swear to god some my friends who aren't playing this are exactly like this and want me to come play a different game with them and i'm just like NOPE having way to much fun lol.
