Different shipwrecks

  • Please add shipwrecks for brigs and sloops. It seems odd that only Galleons sink. It would be more immersive and realistic to find different types of shipwrecks. Maybe tie them to specific areas, like you find the sloop wrecks closer to shore, brigs near outposts and galleons out in the open sea.

Galleons are used, because they're large enough to have a vast array of treasure and supplies in them/their barrels, unlike brigs or sloops. It's designed this way to be generous to the player.

  • I think it could be cool to have variety in terms of what shipwrecks are found, maybe to even out the loot found multiple ships could spawn for smaller ships? Like one galleon, two brigs, or three sloops.

That doesn't make any sense. Devs control all the loot on the shipwreck and all the items in the barrels. The type of ship has literally nothing to do with that.

Considering they only recently decided to start adding more air bubbles to the shipwrecks, it's more likely that Galleons were initially used for shipwrecks simply because they're large, and take up your time to navigate through and present a risk.

  • @xDreegan also, sloops and brigs aren't large enough to have a Captain's quarters where treasure can be locked away in, which gives galleons an option to be used as a voyage themselves, such as the case with lost cargo run from the merchant faction, legend of the veil, or the recent bilge rat weekender with a secret shipment crate. Galleon shipwrecks provide the most barrels to loot lots of supplies such as fish, meat, cannonballs, chain shot, with the added bonus of the most treasures to spawn inside due to their large size, which gives players the best of both worlds. Don't see how this doesn't make sense.
