Whenever I boot up the game, it tries to connect to the microphone in my headset, but this also causes the audio quality to drop. Does anyone know of a way to prevent this from happening? I've already disabled the microphone in audio devices, but the game still tries to connect to it and reduces the audio quality.

Did you check if your headphones are dead, or plugged in all the way? Maybe your headphones are old and need a replacement.
