One nitpick and a silly suggestion...
The new ambient life is a great addition, except for how seagulls break off when our boats come to a stop. It feels so weird to see birds hoovering when "coasting" in a tail wind. This could be easily alleviated by simply increasing the speed at which they break off.
Also the seagulls could be taken to a new level... hear me out.
A) any shooting scares seagulls away
B) the longer you allow the seagulls to stay boosts the chance of randomly catching bird poo in the face. This would simply be a white recolor of the puke screen overlay.
Or this could be taken to the next NEXT level by making the event super rare and rewarding a title such as "Poo Deck Swabby".
