So I'm if this was suggested before but I believe it time to add a new ship to game I don't know about any of you but I wanted play with all my fiend but rally only has 4 spot so I felt bad that we had to leave them behind
Adding a bigger ship
How is this fair to a Sloop ? Solo or Duo.. or even a brig..
While it may suit your desires.. it would make the game completely off balanced for the large majority of players.
Absolutely should NOT and likely will not be done. Sorry.Bigger ships, YES! Player controlled, No.
Large Trading company vessels sailing from Port to Port could be fun.. Given an option to protect or sink for rewards.

But you also need to take game balance into account.
And the game is balanced for 1-4 players on a crew. Not 5+.The solution to your problem is to put 2 ships on the same server, maybe tell someone from another crew to invite their friend... This is better than completely unbalancing the game.
The only viable way to add new ships is if they are variations of the same category, different types of galleon, sloop and brig... there would still be some problems.

No, No and No.
6 ships and there is a maximum of possible players that's around 16 - 18.
Only on Custom Servers is the max number of players 24 (for 6 fully crewed Galleons)

IIRC initially in 2023, but that may have been reduced to 5 again shortly thereafter and back to 6 again later on.

I call that Hard Mode. You are Solo, of course it gonna be slightly unfair. BUT....you have better turning ship, sometimes even faster and able to out sail.
I believe the new ship should be for 6 players and have 4 cannons on each side
So, this just a galleon with 2 extra players. Why stop at 6? why not 8 or 10?
