  • @thedefender4311 so tired of being spawn next to griefers

  • If you don't want to encounter other crews, I suggest you play safer seas.

  • @thedefender4311

People attacking you in the PvPvE pirate game does not make them griefers, nor does it mean they attacked you for no reason. They can attack you for whatever reason they want.

With that said, it does seem like the diving system isn’t working as intended. Just the other day my duo crew popped up right beside a reaper 5 who was parked at the same island we dove to. We sunk them, are we griefers?

  • Lay claim to your gamertag and defend yourself! You’re playing a PvPvE game, there’s bound to be people attacking you. Happy Community Weekend otherwise!

  • If you mean literally spawning next to your ship, that isn't supposed to happen and has been a regular issue with the dive feature, even worse in season 14.

Boats can and do merge right next to people at things like skeleton camps, sea forts, and even random islands and world events.

That shouldn't be happening but unfortunately it does.

I've had people emerge within blow dart distance.
I've had people emerge right beside me as I emerge.
I've been given people's fleets they are doing as a raid and vice versa.

That part isn't on you if it has happened. That's just the game not working as intended.

  • @bloodybil safer seas its pointless cant do any missions

  • @thedefender4311 unlike gta online and red dead online what ever you can do in public you can do in private lobbies here u cant in safer seas

  • attacks you for no reason

    There are always reasons.

You can do a whole lot of the same stuff in high seas, and we will soon even have 100% gold reward in it, please stop making excuses.

People can want to sink you to secure their location or even to get your supplies. This is a PVEVP game, if you don't want to experience PVP, go in the PVE mode.

  • @bloodybil wrong if you try raise flag in safer sea its say you needs to be in high sea not the same

  • @burnbacon yes the reason is they are griefers just like gta and red dead have sea of thieves have them too

  • @thedefender4311 said in i am so tired of this:

You can't get emissaries bonus in safer sea but you can still do the same voyages offered by companies.
Not having the flag does not prevent you from doing the missions.

Explain. What is Griefing? What are players doing that in Sea of Thieves that is griefing.

Stealing from you: Part of the game
Sinking you: Part of the game
Why sink you? Resources (you can blame and thank Rare for adding that feature) you have barrels of stuff. Maybe you have some loot, and luck be might be high value.
Maybe you are at an Island or Outpost and I need to sell my stuff, your in the way.

You can't compare SoT to GTA/RDR those are different games. You might as well say its like minecraft.

  • Would love to enjoy the events and things going on for the community weekend... but I'm busy grinding the dumbest game mode in existence... like at least give some XP for time spent in a fight or reduce the circle over time like an hour long fight for practically nothing, is stupid

Why do it? Fomo could be considered worth it for a weekend or a few weeks of effort but HG is far from worth it for many.

People had the curses from loss farming and exploiting and grinding in the first few weeks so at this point there is no status to them.

Hg will just drive you out of the game like it did to so many that grinded it despite not liking it.

In this game you might as well do what you enjoy and grind a game that is fun to grind.

Example. A bunch of people are grinding skins on another game recently by shooting zombies, nobody really has complaints about it because the game is fun for them. Grind what is fun and/or rewarding.

Assuming you mean HG… I’m really enjoying my HG weekend on NA West. The pool is large this weekend. Sounds like you don’t like HG, so I can see why you aren’t having a good time. You just want the curse(s).

  • @bloodybil if it was red dead or gta or any other game all features are available in private solo lobbies

  • @burnbacon all games have griefers and trolls people who cant mind they own business and cant do they own thing, its easier to loot someone to lazy to Voyages

  • if steal and griefing part of the game then what would you say fall under toxic in report players then?

  • Well stealing others loot is very much a core thing in SoT. And the risk of loosing all of your loot is what makes it so exciting. 50% of the value of any loot is in the risk of loosing it.

  • @ghostfire1981 then what does toxic report fall under

  • @thedefender4311 when someone starts insulting you (i.e saying slurs). Welcome to sea of thieves, it's not red dead your loot is not yours until you sell it. If you sink off spawn its not ur fault just move on to the next server. It doesn't happen that often anymore.

  • @followyahuah Please someone make his suggestion come true, I love hourglass but it's eating my soul and sanity.

  • @thedefender4311 You need evidence to support your ticket, otherwise people can just spam "Report Player" to everyone.

If you use Xbox make sure you have a way to "Capture That" and if you play on PC you can do multiple methods of screen recording (I use Nvidia Capture).

Upload the clip to Youtube (As unlisted) and include the link in the description of the report.

  • @reverend-toast things thats annoying i am done selling left outpost then they attack they i have nothing

Anyone can start shooting your ship at anytime for any reason. It's part of the game. Only you know what you have on your ship, or, they may want your flag, supplies, or they have a new player practicing shooting your ship. The reasons aren't important. While you can't control their decisions, you have many options at your disposal. If they're being toxic to you, record them and report.

  • @europa4033 yeah make sense its not red dead online or gta online more like red dead roleplay and gta roleplay part of the game i also shouldnt swear that them its part of the game shouldnt swear at them like call of duty players do, i should treat it more like if its redm or fivem

All I ever say to players is GG, or well played. Anyone could be recording, streaming, or clip what you say, and if you're being toxic, they'll report it. I know getting sunk is frustrating, we've all been there, but it happens to us all eventually. I'm going to sink again in the future, and while that's a fact, it doesn't prevent me from having fun with awesome friends in this game. There's an infinite amount of treasure in this game after all. All we can do is learn from each battle, and become better and experienced.
