Where are the horns? And make Sunken Kingdom better.

  • Just spent approximately two hours doing 4 shrines and didn’t find a single horn.

A couple of shrines barely had any treasure in them at all and you removed the Chest of Tributes at the end of some shrines/treasuries.

This is a game about collecting treasure.

Put a guaranteed amount of random treasure in shrines (minimum 15 pieces) and a guaranteed horn of fair winds or breath of the sea at the end of every treasury and shrine.

Get rid of coral bottle quests because now every shrine/treasury has a horn of fair winds or breath of the sea as a reward for completing it. Make it a 50% chance it’s a horn or breath of the sea.

It’s not fun to feel like you’ve wasted your time doing something. Make the sunken kingdom better.

Counter-suggestion to getting rid of coral bottle quests is to first make it so when you find a coral bottle quest it chooses a shrine/treasury close to your current location and second a coral bottle quest guarantees both a horn of fair winds and a breath of the sea.

The issue with coral bottle quests now are they are always so out of the way that it’s just not worth sailing across the map to do them.

  • Will just have to see how it looks when the new patch shows up in a few days.

Hopefully they implemented some of the feedback that has been going around so that horns can become a daily part of sessions.

  • A guaranteed number of items would be nice. I completed many shrines when I was levelling my guild and the inconsistencies in the amount could be wild. My very worst was only four items; my best 28.

For me, 12 items were enough to consider a shrine decent. Finding below that, usually 8 items or less, was too common, I thought.

Now we go to the other extreme, the rare event in which the shrine contained more loot than a mermaid statue could hold. I'd increase the cap on the mermaid statues to 30. A capacity of 20 isn't an issue with a teammate, but as a solo player there's an imbalance that requires deciding what to take, if you're going to swim down for a second time, and such.

Thankfully, I found the loot would generally balance out over the night. However, to swim down and find only a tiny amount of items is not a good look for shrines, and I can only imagine it has dissuaded people from using them more.

  • I think the chance of horns has been broken. I haven't seen him once in the last month, even though I check every shipwreck.

I found one a day ago in a shipwreck near Merrick

Shipwrecks did get wildly nerfed though

Pre patch I found a lot of my horns in shipwrecks and I think I've only found one post patch

The unfortunate thing is that they didn't actually patch out farming them entirely, they patched out organically farming them.

Hopefully the patch on the way will improve the horn hunt.

Not all treasures are silver and gold or a weapon.
Some of the best treasures is just…what you decide.

  • Yesterday we did our first Legend of the Sunken Kingdom voyage. First shrine we already found one. Cooncidence?
