Shark spawn rates changed?

    Is it just me or have there been a LOT more sharks spawning since yesterday? Specifically after ships sink (which yes does spawn sharks normally) but we have been seeing really increased amounts of them.

    Tough to tell if it's actually more

    it's the insta-spawn that's making it seem that way, might be the same amount just without the delay

    sharks have changed a bit here and there for years at this point as far as how common or not common they are, and how they spawn in.

    I’ve noticed instant spawning, but I only ever get one. It was like this years ago when I first really got into the game. Felt like if I even brushed against the water a shark would show up, but it would only be one. Then for the past almost 2 years it’s been that I had to swim for a while to get a shark to show up, which was annoying if I needed the blue light.

    I got 5 stars in hunting though, they send all the reinforcements

    @wolfmanbush oh yeah, shark spawn during megs is super rough, don’t get knocked off your boat haha
