Infinite ghost ships?

  • Today my friend and I were around reapers and heard the ghost ship music start playing and two ghost briggs had spawned on us, after getting those 2, three ghost sloops spawned again and after that 2 gallieons or wtv their spelt like spawned in and after those 2, 2 more gallieon ghost ships spawned and we sunk due to them not taking damage and us running out of cannonballs. Has this happened to anyone else?

  • It's a fleet event, the area expanded in the last patch so it can be triggered while at reapers now and a wider area around the fleet

    This may or may not change tomorrow with the update I dunno

    6 is the max in design but a fleet can be anywhere from 1-6 depending on if any of them sank before you were involved.

  • We were trying to run away from the ships because we ran out of cannonballs, the ships ended up following us past 2 outposts lol

    Would you be talking about sea dogs tavern and reapers?

    you can technically have 2 skelly ships chasing you outside of a fleet but those are rare circumstances, probably wasn't the case for you

    very likely this was a fleet event situation

  • Probably the case, though we have been constantly running into glitched ghost gallieons that don't take damage, do u know any reason for that?
