Can't change in-game language

    Howdy,

    I can't seem to change the in-game language of my game. It's stuck in Japanese, which I can't read.
    I'm using Xbox Game-pass to install it, and after re-installing 4 times with different changes, it's still in Japanese.
    I have tried uninstalling the JP language pack from my Win10, adding English (US) as display language and region, etcetera...
    Since I don't read Japanese I also can't see if there is an in-game language option. Is there?
    I've tried re-installing Xbox Game-pass as well, but no dice.

    Any ideas?

    Language is part of Settings.

    On the screen with your pirate on the left hand side and three pictures to choose from, choose "2" for Settings.

    In the Settings menu, Language is the 9th option

    Top option of Language menu is Game Language, choosing it to change gives you info about having to restart when you change it.
    The 2nd option is English.

    This is of course assuming the order of things is the same for all languages, otherwise 英語 is Japanese for English.

    I've been messing around with admin permissions and registry edits, but this worked

    Now how come your game thinks it's on a Japanese version of Windows ? Or are you a victim of a roommate warning you to log off in a funny way ?
