I'm happy to finally see a Rapier-esque weapon in SoT. Maybe add some normal looking ones with different hilt guard styles? I kinda would like to complete a Captain Hook cosplay without a "loud" rapier.
More Rapier Cosmetic Skins for Cutlass?
It would really facilitate that fancy gentleman look. The game definitely is lacking in small sword and rapier styled cosmetics, particularly small sword. For those who cant readily picture a small sword, an example is the sword Will made for Norrington's promotion in beginning of the first Pirates movie.

That's more of a Chinese sword than a rapier or foil.
@galactic-geek it's more of a rapier than Norrington's sword, and until this Pegasus? sword the only thing close in sea of thieves.

BTW, @JaegerDelta3465, I'm fairly certain that what Norrington used was a shortened version of a saber, since Will Turner himself said it was perfectly balanced.

I'm not arguing against the historical accuracy of what you posted - only the reliability of a Wiki, which can be edited by ANYBODY. Besides, what you have shown me, doesn't resemble anything that's in-game so in as far as I know, so with that in mind, your whole point is essentially moot.

mhmm. cause it looks like you ran across something you weren't familiar with and then rather than look up what it was, you made yourself look a little silly and got a little embarrassed. Then, when provided with the definition in the most convenient way, you mocked the source of that definition in an attempt to change the conversation away from that perceived embarrassment. Its perfectly fine to not be familiar with something, no one is going to think less of you. And actually, the sabre comment is not an entirely bad connection to make there were certainly straight bladed sabers in use by heavy cavalry units during the same time period that people were carrying small swords. Historical arms and armor is a niche topic, its fine dude.
