On sept 9 we are having a new Battle Royal with the SoT theme, Why should I care? If everyone here is (crying) requesting PVE servers right? or because that game is a SoT bad copy? or maybe because is another Battle Royal game? ... anyway my only concern as a 2 years old player the Arena is still incomplete 1 year later and match on the arena is a long to wait, and the Galleon arena is almost dead, yeah sure steam recover a little this modes but many player still avoids this one.
My suggestion will be no more gold rewards give us Doubloons and Ancient Coins if we are on the top ten winners in a month like the Emissaries rewards, exclusive cosmetics and titles. Also we need the brigantine on the ARENA now! is been a year since launched and we don't have it yet, and on adventure is most ship i always see sailing because is the best one of the 3 even the Blazing Sails game are using the brigantine as the main battle royal ship, and we? Last suggestion make the Arena (sea dogs) a separate game so the players that only want that fps experience can buy it half of the price of the main game and familiarize with the game and maybe buy the full game later . Also I recommend they can keep their progress because you can buy with gold any of the cosmetics on the arena tavern, so they will not lose their cosmetics earn and the reputation with the sea dogs, so if one day the buy Adventure Mode they will carry over that to the sandbox experience.
But for doing this you need to fix and ad the Arena; fix the desync , hitbox and exploits that the pvp has. And ad more weapons, the brigantine, mods, and challenges to the arena so it can be considered as stand alone game.
This Balzing Sails is seeing a market, why SoT not?
PD. if the inspired their game on SoT maybe we should look close and (steal) I mean be inspired by something they introduced and bring it to our game, at the end of the day we are all pirates and this is Sea of Friends , sorry Sea of Thieves.
