@enf0rcer Could be interesting if you could sail up and harpoon one and initiate a kind of tug of war between ships. Or if a boarder gets on there are hooks or ropes they can slash to cut the trophy down from the ship. Or, of course, if you sink a ship they float up with the rest of the treasure and you can scoop them from the sea.
That sounds great. It would definitely make for unique ship combat with harpoons. I like these idea's👍.

I thought I broke it down in the text. You sink another persons ship and you would roll up beside it to attach the catch to the side of your ship or it would sink in time like the other treasure. Someone on reddit stated they think the catch shouldn't take damage from cannon balls. I think it would be fine. But think its interesting if it did so you really gotta rush to get the catch turned in or face the consequences of a pirate ship lighting you up and degrading your catch. But if it didn't and it was only time. That would be fine as well. Anyways - Ship sinks. You pull your ship up to it and someone jumps in the water to "attach" to the side of the boat like you would if you caught it your self.
So it's only a reward for ship sink like emmisarry flag? I was asking how a single pirate could sneak and steal it. I personally like @BadRobott suggested. Cause i like encourging thieving not just sinking ships.

@badrobott I think it would be best to only be able to get it off another persons ship if the ship goes down. Maybe there is a spot on the ship you could "Cut the ropes" of someones catch to make it fall off without destroying there ship so you could still snag it in a less aggressive way?
Still great ideas and nice work👍.
