Can we please do something about spawn killing? It gets old really fast in adventure and arena. The other night I was on with a sloop. I was getting off the game so I pulled up on gally just loading in to give them my reapers flag that sank earlier and my storage crate just to be attacked by them. Once they killed me someone was at each of the spawning points ready to kill. I never got the chance to let them know I was giving them gifts. In the arena ships will get in with others and 2 people from each crew will get on a ship and continue to spawn kill the entire crew while the other 2 fire at the ship. There should be ways to escape besides scuttle and let your ship sink! My suggestion would be to allow a 2 second “safe” zone. This would mean you cannot attack anyone and you can not be attacked within 2 seconds of loading in. Which would allow you to have enough time to get away from the spawn location!
Makes the game in enjoyable to die nonstop without a fighting chance!
Spawn killing!!!
@cadkin01 in adventure mode you shouldnt roll up on people expecting them to be nice, even tho you are bringing gifts. Shoot yourself over with your cannons from a far range. Then have a talk with them. In arena people farm to get kill commendations. If you let people on your ship you might have lost your ship so scuttle really is the only way sometimes.
@capt-kanna I agree I wouldn’t expect them to be friendly. However I generally don’t have a problem giving stuff away. I came across aggressive players. This is just one example. The spawn killing happens more than it should. It also makes it harder solo slooping. If I have my crew someone generally notices someone getting on the ship.
Go into your "my crew" menu and scuttle your ship. If you're being repeatedly spawnkilled, just accept the loss, scuttle, wait about 60 seconds and spawn with a fresh ship on another island. Don't beat your head against the wall expecting a different outcome; that's the very definition of insanity.
I've tried to give people gifts and been attacked as well. Since you were logging off anyways, you really have nothing to complain about.
