Collaboration with lego?

  • What if, by some thought and planning, Rare decided to collaberate with lego.

I can see myself buying a miniature cutlass cay treasure dig set, with some minifigurs.

Or you could get a galleon playset complete with the Cape material for sails.

Could come with minifigures and stuff.

What about a skull fort? The possibilities are endless!

Sign me up, I'd buy it - there are a fair few pirates who are fans of lego too, did you see the ship in a bottle set?

  • @katttruewalker no I haven't actually!

  • @stryps3071tv

I'm not sure if it's still available but here's a page which gives you some background behind it, it was one of those ideas which comes from the Lego Ideas and actually made it into production.

Wow that's a cool story. I didnt know that lego does that yet I have so much lego at home!

Funnily enough, I watched a few episodes of The Toys That Made Us on Netflix at the weekend. The one on Lego had a bit where they talked about the ship sets they've done (and testing them in a sink). It actually had me thinking of this exact thing.

I know they've done pirate ship sets in the past but I do think SoT has a unique enough aesthetic to differentiate it.

  • @realstyli funnily enough, I have a now worth £100 lego coastguard, as well as the modern one!

  • Omg please do this. It would be amazing to have some Lego Sea of thieves sets! xD

  • @katttruewalker

I named my galleon after that Lego ship! It’s the “Leviathan”. Also the Lego bonsai tree is awesome and one of the earlier builds that creator did was a bonsai marooned pirate island palm tree. I haven’t been able to find instructions and parts list for it though :( alt text
