@boxcar-squidy that is the risk. Hope there's a good balance between your ship sinking and you drowning/shark bite else you might be sent across the map a little too often

@robroythered Correct... The quest lines and cosmetics and doubloons earnt from events are all time-limited.
Keep yer eyes peeled as there are more content updates and quest lines coming up!
Properly not, but another quest-line just like that will be introduced.
I like that these events and expansions are time-limited. This makes the items obtained from these events much more exclusive and stafisfying having in the inventory.

Also remember that they keep some of the additions from the Hungering Deep in game.Although you may have missed the quest line with all of the riddles, you can stay keep an eye out for the megladon!

@robroythered it will either swim around you or take a bite out of you. I haven't seen it do a full on attack yet but I believe it does.

Looks more like a "wasn't me, I don't know what happened" octopus.
I wish that was an emote btw, it'd add that extra pinch of salt to playing a sad song while someone's ship goes down.

If you don't attack it, it will swim around you and maybe take a little bite out of your ship. If you anchor in its "territory" it'll end up in a full-on fight just like the one from the event. I've beat an open world one before but you don't get anything from it.

The devs created two types of megladons. One that does not attack and one that attacks on sight.It just depends on which one you come across. I do believe that if shoot either one, it will attack.

@nefrit-od ARG. Looks like it might be one of the one's you need members from different crews..One held up the lantern and nothing happened....
