I know this has been mentioned before but I just want to make sure that the topic stays relevant because I really think people should be able to play the pirate legend shanty wherever they are. It's a great song and it would be amazing to be able to play it while at sea. If necessary maybe the devs could start selling new shanties at the pirate emporium?
Sea of thieves Pirate legend shanty...
Wait. You're asking for Rare to sell us something? lol Interesting.
Also, you're asking Rare to sell us something that only some of us have actually have earned? lol Interesting.
That sounds like a horrible idea, in my opinion, BUT...
...May I borrow some money, so I can get some pets and emotes and ship skins?
Emotes in the Emporium Shop in a game like Sea of Thieves, in my opinion, is already a bad idea but if they start putting shanties and why not new instruments (what could stop them when there thousands of players ready to throw their money at them?) I'll be even more disappointed.
The Dark Age of Piracy is yet to come.

Being able to initiate the PL shanty wherever would be awesome, i agree...
Pls Rare, gief!
I don't understand why so many pirates want that shanty - comparatively speaking, it's nowhere even near as good as the other shanties, nor as long... I mean come on! A children's choir comes out of thin air! If it was put more in line more with the others, you know - less magical and more instrumental, then I'd be all for it.
@dislex-fx No, what I meant is that the pirate legend should be able to be started from outside the tavern and new shanties could be sold in the shop. They could change the pl shanty to sound better when playing for fun.
