For some reason, the hand is chrome, when it should be metallic... This was taken in one of the caves to the pirate legend hideout, apparently there's a unique form of lighting in those... producing this effect.

This is basically where the complaint about how the gold curse looks like "you dipped yourself in peanut butter" and so on came from...

Why does the gold curse glow like that from particular angles and lighting situations? It's very off-putting... This game uses cosmetics as the main gameplay incentive, but when cosmetics and visuals are glitchy, this could interfere with the incentive, dampening people's motivations to play... If i knew the gold curse was going to look this ugly most of the time, i wouldn't have bothered getting it, so now that i have it and it looks like this, i'm not very enthusiastic about future curses. :S
This is a couple of pictures showing off the fact that the gold curse is... transparent, i guess? This might be why the lighting effects are awkward.

You can see the tattoo below the gold curse, slightly... Why? Shouldn't it be completely invisible? Or at the very least overlap the curse? This transparency is all kinds of weird.

Apparently the gold curse is actually a "brass curse"... Because it's brass-colored, not gold coloured.
These pictures were taken with mythical graphics settings, the highest available.
Anybody else experiencing these odd visual symptoms? 'cus it's really starting to get to me...
