  • @bundui He does play games with Tim a lot tbh...so it wouldn’t surprise me at some point.

Now the big streamers are starting to pick the game up, especially if they get into it. It’s going to be a very interesting time for the game and community.

For Better or worse, one thing I will predict is if you thought there was to much PvP now lol. If these guys get into the game you will be in for a shock lol

Let’s just hope Rare remembers who was there community before steamers said it was “Worth playing now”.

  • @knifelife I'm feeling a lot more people who will complain about people killing them, lul xD

  • @bundui Yepp there will be, theres also going to be a lot more Crossplay and PvE server requests lol.

Rare needs to get the Arena out ASAP! XD

The streamers are coming.. the streamers are coming 😂😂

  • Has there ever been a time when people didn't complain about the PVP?

I'm pretty sure that a salty complaint about mean pirates on an internet forum within the first two weeks of playing is a hidden requirement for achieving pirate legend.

Happy to see more streamers get involved.

  • Yeah It's a good sign, we might get more of the dual-gun issues but that just keeps a developer sharp.

People complained about dual gunning for the entire lifespan of the game and now Rare does something after a streamer popularised it. I'm just wondering what other streamers will discover that Rare can fix.

  • This is just a hype ... Once the "new" off this game is gone for them they will report or slander a different game...The Real Pirate is here to stay without having to make noise in a microphone in the hope he/she gets a few viewers...Oh, i know , i'm OldSkool ( * Hahahah, liar...you never went to school, dumb yokel) ,i don't need someone watching over my shoulder , it would only brake my joy and utter shildness...

  • Dr Disrespect is playing SoT?

  • @clumsy-george streaming and streamers can bring fun and interesting styles of play to the game. The game was practically made for streaming.

The only reason I don't is because the thought of being "on camera" stifles my creativity and makes me more reserved in my antics. Fair play to those who can be on camera and still feel comfortable and creative. It's harder than it looks.

  • @bundui I think they're trying to get used to the game to be ready when the arena come out.

  • @bundui It's good that other big streamers started playing, the game definitely needs more attention because its an amazing game.

  • @biostructr I’m hoping the game will get a bit more positive now some more of the bigger streamers are jumping on.

I’ve never really been a fan of summits ways of interacting with people on games, especially on SoT. I personally have found him very rude and toxix when it really wasn’t necessary.

I’m hoping the other bigger streamers will set better examples for there audiences when it comes to engaging in PvP by just having fun instead of just insulting people.

@Octopus-Lime Yeah he played it for a few hours, I believe he said he enjoyed it and will be playing again.

  • @knifelife Yes, I'm not a big fan of Summit but its funny when he hides on someone's ship and after some time he starts interacting with them like hes on their crew. I like this kind of "trickster" role play.

  • @biostructr Haven’t seen him do it before, but I managed it a couple of times in the TA. Was sleeping in the captains bed of a Galleon when they got attacked and started helping with repairs and defences.

By the time they realised I wasn’t on there crew they just accepted me as one of there own anyway ahaha!

But that’s just SoT you can just get into some wacky unscripted scenarios what you just wouldn’t really be able to in other games.

  • @bundui It was super cool to see both summit and the 2x streaming SoT at the same time.

It would have been even more hype if they were both streaming it when summit hit 60k (maybe even 70) viewers last night during his gilded heist.

  • @knifelife Hahah that's funny! I will try to do that some time, just sneak on a random ship and play as I'm one of them, for the lols.

  • @xcalypt0x I used to love the montages when Doc and summit would bump into each other on PUBG! Used to be so funny, would like to see Doc show him who’s the better pirate xD

  • @knifelife I have actually never seen these! I only started watching both of relatively recently. I know what I'll be watching on my lunch break lol.

I caught the very tail end of docs SoT stream last night and I couldn't tell if he was enjoying it but when he ended he said positive things about it so I'm hoping he plays it some more.

I'm really shocked Summit is still on it after a month. After he played it for like three days I asked him how he liked it compared to at launch and he said "about the same." I think it has since grown on him lol.

Yea, sum hit 75 at some point.

I'm pretty sure Tim is that streamer who is showing it from different perspective, playing more childishly I would say.

  • Fear not, kind sir, for these Fans of Summit will be stripped of their Macros come the 6th of February, after which their total lack of skills in all aspects of the game will become woefully apparent.

(Ever see these PvP Macro Kiddies try to sail a ship in battle, or shoot a cannon? Hilarious......)

    You call macro doublegun? lul

  • If people could stop comparing fortcrap with SoT, thank you.

It's not a comparison, just some hype for SOT.

  • @bundui I don’t get why Fortnite gets hate to be honest, well I do it’s because it’s cool to hate on anything that’s successful.
I suppose it’s the same how it was cool to hate on SoT when it launched, but look at it now!
I guess it will be getting hate for doing well soon xD

  • Sypherpk is streaming it on twitch too.

they are sitting at #1 and #2 on Twitch, at the moment, so comparing them is kind of expected.

    Well, like i said below....

@marsmayflower Not even the same game and people have ALWAYS compared that uglyword game with this game for no reason what so ever.
I could care less about Twtich.

It's the biggest game in the world, that makes it cool to hate on. Twas the same when COD was numbah won. Tbh I legit hated COD.

Also Epic were kinda shady in how they ripped off PUBG, but then PUBG was hardly an original concept itself, so all is fair I guess.

At least SoT is being compared with Fortnite instead of NMS these days, that's progress that you can't deny.

My thoughts exactly. Watching streamers for me is like watching a horror movie... Why go in there?! I would do this instead! AAAARG!

I'm just going to go play.

  • Rubius is also streaming it.

  • @boxcar-squidy

Fortnite has been in development for 8 years...they hardly ripped off pubg 🤣 pubg runs on epics engine it’s a win win for them...

  • @aglasgowthing well there was enough there for a lawsuit, I don't know the details and I'm not assigning blame, all I'm saying is I've seen people cite that as one of the reasons they jumped on the "I hate fortnite" bandwagon.

  • @boxcar-squidy he law suit was for advertising rights, not gameplay or anything to do with BR.
