I was doing a quest in which there was one island where there was 7 chests on one island (I had two different maps for the same island). I collected all of the chests (1 captains chest, 2 marauders chests and 4 seafarers chests) but once I got to the island I lagged out of the game server, which wasn't my wifi's fault because that was fine. These chest would have got my maybe 2 to 3 thousand gold and I think that it severely unfair that I don't get anything for them as for the game's server issues. Is there anything that anyone can do to give me some compensation?

@imthemanbro7011 There will probably not be any compensation. The fact your playing on Wireless alone is a major taunt of getting Disconnected. It's less stable regardless on your internet speeds.
Whilst this can be frustrating, you'll just have to continue your journey at a loss. I know how annoying it can be losing some great loot, it doesn't always go the way you plan it!
I feel ya. I did a skull fort for 2 hours. Between every wave of skeletons having 80% guns to pvpers trying to over take me. I kill the captian, grab the key, go to unlock the door and BAM. I get kicked from the server. Last night was going a gold horde mission had completed it with 15 chest on my way to an outpost and BAM. Server disconnect

Ahoy there, really sorry to hear you lost out on such a haul!
While compensation isn't possible at this time, there have been a great many requests for being able to rejoin your ship in the event of a disconnect, whatever has caused the issue, and carry on from where we left off.
Hopefully the voices have been heard and Rare are considering implementing this.
@imthemanbro7011 I feel you. The only things I can say are these things I will say.
- It has only happened to me like twice and that was back when I first got the game.
- Sail with others. If you lag out you just rejoin and the treasure is safe.
- The further along you get you will begin to realize some chests or skulls here and there are just a drop in the bucket. I've probably turned in a thousand chests by this time. If someone steals 4 here or I lagged out and lost a few there or if whatever happens I know its just a drop in the bucket, move on to fight another day.
- You have my sympathy. Lag sucks. Enemy pirates suck. But the worst was this situation where I had five chests on the beach and swam one to my ship. When I got on board it did that server change thing and all my chests on the beach were gone. I was so mad haha.
