Can we "safe" our ship for the next session?

  • And yes I mean with all the ressources and everything. If it isn't sunk why not?

Sometimes you and your ship went through thick and thin and even though you can easily spawn a new ship, the difference in ressources makes its sometimes not feel like your one loyal aquatic steed you went through hell and high water with.

It is a little sad to see it go every time again, especially if its filled with ressources until it bursts. ;)

If it sinks you have to start over though.

ps: Old forum design was better.

  • If you could do such thing new players starts with regular ammount of supplies and you "start" with 300 cannonballs it brokes the balance between you and him.

  • I've always thought that there should be a shipwright system. Allow you to repair the looks of your ship. Also, instead of spawning people near or far after they sink it could be less dramatic if there was a respawn timer for ships. I suggested for each sinking the timer is 0, 5, 10, 15 where 15 is the max and the sink timer is reduce by 1 each in-game day after the last sinking. We've had to fight the same galleon 8 times at a fort and it was a bit ridiculous how quickly they would get there. Saving your voyage/ship could be a part of the Shipwright system. But I think this will come once they have the new captain system, which will be awhile.

New players hahaha. You mean those who can fill their Sloop after 30 minutes just as much?
Also if it sinks, it sinks and you have to ... omg ... start over. ;)

I see players scuttling their ships in order to exploit a certain mechanic which I do not want to name.
That is way worse and there is no real punishment for doing that either.

No name, no heritage. Every time its a new ship.
Even though our ship should be one of our treasures too.

  • “Safe” or SAVE? 🤦🏻‍♂️
    @Illumipirat
But also i do agree ONLY on the fact the old forum was better

  • @illumipirat Makes sense. Game should have some kind of persistence. People are just against it because they think every time you long in is a fresh match in call of duty.

  • @illumipirat sloop cant stack up to 300 but only 200 cannonballs btw. Then what if you join session where barrerls are actually empty(happens sometimes)?
Then you and your crew have 300 cb and others are low on supplies. The balance

  • I think being able to save your supplies from session to session would defeat the “level playing field” philosophy, which is vital to the game. That said, I’d love to be able to carry the barrels off the ship to sell, or leave to another crew. That would take a little of the sting out of leaving a fully stocked ship.

  • People really do not understand that scuttling ships is too lucrative currently.
But I do not want to say why. Cause why should I help you ingame? ;)

Now I feel like a real pro. ;)
