The sunken curse is the next two week event as part of the bilgerat adventures, like the skeleton throne and gunpowder skeleton events, and it starts in about an hour when the servers come back online. It will have us exploring underwater areas. We don't know much about it, but the released a short teaser video a little while ago of a pirate finding a mermaid statue under water with glowing eyes. We'll find out more soon

Got to be 25 July planned, 26 July actual - Sunken Curse needs to run for two weeks at least, there won't be time for another event in July, so it fits perfectly. We know from experience it probably won't hit the planned date, but I have a feeling they won't want it to go out on a Friday, so 26 July is my bet, and I'd almost be willing put money on that... almost...

I wish the sunken curse didn't run Two weeks. killing statues is kind of meh after the exploding barrel patch. I hope they release curse sails next week.

@treefittymonsta That would be nice, but I can’t see it happening, especially considering they’re not even releasing the release date until next week...

The Sunken Curse ends on July 25th. Each Bilge Rat Adventure lasts 2 weeks. Cursed Sails has been promised for July. When Sunken Curse ends we will not have two weeks left in July for another BRA, so I can 99.99% guarantee that Cursed Sails comes with the patch that ends The Sunken Curse. So the 25th? 26th if the patch comes out the night of the 25th.

Joe said there's a teaser with date this week. I wonder what day they implement the patch.

Well now we know it won't be out on the 17th or 18th.

Called it. Guess 4 to 6 weeks after E3 meant 7 weeks after E3. Oh well. Glad to see a firm date. New prediction. Will it be delayed until August 2nd.
