Who's your Favourite NPC and why?

    Just curious who your favourite NPC is and why. There are so many colourful characters in game and its hard to pick just one.

    If I had to pick it has got to be Mildred. She is such a sweet little ol'lady, but is possibly hiding a meaner past. When you speak to her she mentions being around for a long time and knows how to defend herself.
    She actually says;
    "Don't worry about me, I'm more than capable of dealing with...ah...unfortunate incidents that come my way"

    If you look closer shes covered in tattoos poking through the rips in her shirt and has plenty of scars. Plus her favourite animals are the snakes.

    Gotta love a lady who can handle herself but still makes you feel like shes your Nana.

    @dreadpirate9200 I like Colin. Shifty, dodgey little smuggler that he is. Reminds me of Yondu from Guardians of the Galaxy (although less cool)

    Hahaha, well I loved how Merrick was designed, he was perfect for the hungering deep event. I loved the way we learned his backstory in the trailer. Even if the other NPC already have some too, I hope we could have a bit more stories related with what they have done to discover in the world :)

    @dreadpirate9200 as much as I hate merchant voyages I love all the merchants, they're so full of character and quite funny really. I like all the OoS and GH guys too, if you watch them from a distance they all start doing weird things when they think no ones watching. Most of the gunship owners have cool weapons I'm jealous of. The clothing shop guy on Dagger Tooth likes his poetry and seems weirdly out of place on such a rough outpost. All of them are pretty good and to be honest I'm sure I'm not alone in not really paying them the attention they deserve, maybe I'll go learn some of their names. I hate Duke though, don't know why I just despise him.

    I like Merrick and his drum dance and shanty. In the pirate hideout, there is Blind Bob, who entertains and tells jokes to Pirate Legends.

    Would like to see Bosun Bill introduced as a character, as there are journals on what a unlucky pirate he is. Could be an event where we have to help him get loot 😆

    Hahaha this! I love how they look at you! The one on the ferry of the damned scare me the most when he does that!

    I'm afraid poor man, the only thing I took without permission was when I stole her heart.
    She be tellin' yer her goodbyes in a message three days ago. Yer can't miss it as it's in a green bottle probably washed ashore.
    Be sure to keep a keen eye open for it.

    Olivia will always be one of my favorites simply because my crew has built up a story around her and one of our crew members, basically that they have a 'thing,' nudge nudge wink wink. There's a whole back story with drama and torrid loves and loves lost, but it's been a running gag every time we end up at her outpost and it never fails to make us all laugh.

    Her showing up as the star of the latest dlc trailer only solidified her as being one of my faves.

    Gotta be the legend stood at the back of the tavern. He seems ok until you notice... something... then you spot his eyes... He gives you a riddle and you think "oh, there must be a quest coming" but he teases and teases, until one day, you know you're going to hit 50/50/50 and he will finally have a use!

    It's hard to say but I like the OoS gals the most. They're very mysterious. Actually everyone has a bit of mystery behind them. I am not a huge fan of Duke. speaking of the "Big D" why is he on every outpost. Why isn't there a different "rep" for the rats on the outposts? Anyone know?

    I love it when you get close to their tent and they're casting some kind of spell/levitation on the skull with elaborate hand movements, but then the second that you step into the tent they quickly resume their normal waiting posture all "nope, nothing to see here, folks, I wasn't just practicing some sort of dark mysticism that your feeble brain could never comprehend, nosirree!"

    Mysterious, indeed.
