After re-watching the trailer multiple times and pausing at the preview of the brigantine I find myself with one concern: it looks flat.
Will this boat be hard to steer because of a limited field of view? It might be a weird shot/angle but I really hope it has steps to a higher level for the steering wheel (like the galleon and sloop). I just can’t see it. :’(

Idk, looks like a flat deck to me.
Edited this image of it, and it looks like the wheel may be slightly elevated above the gun deck. Also don't know why they put the anchor capstan way up at the very front.
It's called balancing. Wouldn't be surprised if they moved other stuff around as well, maybe don't make the map table viewable from above. With a crew of three, you have to make sure that they are busy doing things and not just have two on the cannons at all times. Same way as the galleon can't have everybody manning the cannons without losing maneuverability.

Am i not right in thinking that this design was first seen in a 2D animation sequence within the trailer? So I wouldn't yet take anything that we see of the brig as gospel until Forsaken Shores arrives later in the summer.
The Brigantine is coming next month in the Cursed Sail update :)

I'm sure they'll be able to cross-reference it somehow haha. Still disappointed in both this person and you for feeling the need to mention anything about what's going on in the Pioneer sessions.

I'm sorry you didn't get back in, but it's no reason to spill the beans on what's going on. Specially because now you're putting your friend at risk simply by saying you saw it while visiting someone. No doubt you play with this person regularly, so they just need to look at your friends list once and see whoever is a pioneer. I'm sure it's not that many.
Do yourself, if you ever want to get back in, and your friend a favour: just don't talk about it.

as for the friend its not someone on them, its a friend of the family, I didn't know he even played this game till I had to take something round I have never added him for the reason guys a tool and just aggressive on xbox haha.
