  • This "fix" for the new spawning system is litteraly not doing anything. please and i beg of you. do something that actualy matters regarding sinking others ships. i'm tired of having to kill the same enemies over and over. it has now cost me yet another fort after killing the same crew 4 times to then be killed once because we ran out of supplies from fighting them so many times. i know this might come across as someone whining on the forums cuz they lost and yes i'm a bit salty and rightfully so i believe. u dont see any other competition giving the prize to the team that wins 1 out of 5 fights so why do it in sea of thieves?

    delay respawning and instead allow spectating your own crew members once your crews all dead your crew spawns on a bran new server.

    up to them how long they wanna have a dead player wait before they can respawn again on the same server if the rest never die or just force dead to new server anyways as punishment for loosing?

    when you die in fortnite gameover spectate and watch your team then queue another match once over same as quake die spectate and then respawn later on a delay and spectating and server change would make it so they do not have to nerf supplys u spawn with instead you will have to get gud and stop loosing and win the first battle in order to win anything in a pvp fight battle

    this would solve forts probably but also destroy friends and co op and those that want pve? and quests plundering etc as there crews would be diminished permanently having been sent to another server once killed

    new server once killed eliminates spawn camping/harassment/abuse once they die they don't come back and you can no longer find them period. in ark survival evolved this is highly abused

    players need to own a ship then this ship gains value + score for each other ship it sinks based on crew and ship size etc once this ship is sunk by another ship big pay day a score + value and visible to all other players in game on the same server

    players need to gain a value for other players they have killed and ships they have sunk so that if anyone kills them you get a big pay day like a score + value and visible to all other players in game on the same server

    would need real time live in game leader boards for this and then open hunting season
    everyone in match should be on it irregardless of progress kills sunken ships etc

    coin needs to have value game needs progression diversity and

    also deathmatch cannot progress with a forced server change for forts sooo... because you cannot progress and accumulate scores over times as they are wiped out on death some games have time limit while mmo's tend to let it go on for forever with no real limit great way to fund your pirating career

    so what is this game sea of thieves? goals? direction? objective?

  • Server change if you lose your ship at a fort would be a good idea, if the servers could handle that extra load of having to matchmake up to 4 people to a new server every time. But really the best solution is to start with almost nothing for supplies, like 5 planks 10 cannonballs and no bananas. That way you have to go look for supplies again to actually win instead of throwing ship after ship at them. That and push the respawn range back even further, and you got yourself a solution.

  • to be honest. dont dont believe any system would be perfect. there will always be pros and cons as there is with everything and we'll never be able to have everyone agree on a single solution. however i do believe we can all agree that this fix diden't solve the issue and that is why i'm calling to have this issue adressed properly. instead of just a temp fix at the hottest topic as of right now.
