So one of the things that has been annoying is when you board an enemy ship and defeat the crew, you should be able to commandeer their ship, scuttle it etc. Not have the crew just keep re-spawning and having to do it all over again....its a vicious cycle. I understand the main reason is to plunder treasure/loot and get away with it. However lets say they have no loot, but a better customized ship, or they're just a pain in the rump and keep attacking you? Well it would be a nice feeling to know you fended them off and taught them a lesson. As it stands they can just keep re-spawning until they defeat you.
Any way just a thought to re-spawn them on a distant island with their boat docked and all treasure gone.
