Athena’s fortune (spoilers)

    So my mates and I just completed a legendary voyage. Prod1gyx jumped into our game gave us awesome sea dog ship customization and a legendary voyage after showing us the pirate legend hideout. The voyage took us roughly 4 hours in total due to the skeletons being so extremely insane. We turned in the legendary chest and all together made about 25k in gold.

    If we shaved off the order of souls missions it would have taken us maybe 2 hours but the skeletons not just the bosses were like fighting an army of bosses. Overall we had a lot of fun but still felt like the time sowed vs the reward reaped just didn’t add up due to the unreal difficulty of the skeletons. Their health is just unreasonably high it takes 5 pistol shots to take down a regular skeleton. Or 5 heavy lunge attacks.

    The most disappointing part was the legendary chest was only worth 3300 gold. I mean that is way more than any other item but at the same time I thought it would have been about 10k in worth to really show pirate legend has a fantastic perk.

    Even though the results we found to be a bit disheartening we all still can’t wait to become pirate legends. And hopefully by that time the cost in time and effort will be a bit more balanced with reward.

    well if they plan on adding in any end game skins or content to buy. they would have to make it sooooo expensive to keep people still playing if you got 10k from one legendary chest every time you do a mission.

    just my two cents.

    Good to know the game will be solo friendly when I reach that level... /kappa

    @vavume I wouldn’t say soloing legendary voyages is impossible as long as you have like a week off work to play non stop with nothing but bathroom breaks lol

    That's kind of you I appreciate the offer, but I'm a lone wolf in everything I play, and if there is no room for lone wolves at high reputation then I will just call it a day now, it's been fun, I have no complaints, it was worth the money even for the short time I've played. I will check back in some months to see if things have changed.

    Kind of still looks that way, a legendary mission (legendary meaning not your typical mission) still only takes two hours by itself.

    Unfortunately no you have to complete all the different parts of the voyage before the legendary chest becomes available. It’s the final part of th voyage. So if you plan on leveling up your Athena’s fortune trading co. You have to do all of them

    My least favourite part of any game is bullet sponge enemies. Can’t wait to be a pirate legend 😢

    They're also not called "ancient chests", like the developer said they would.

    I think the "cosmetics in ancient chests from completing legendary voyages" was just an idea that never got implemented.

    I heard that the legend has to actually find them by himself so he gets an ancient chest. If some One Else find's it its going to be a Legends chest and just gives some gold. But no Clue if this is True or just some Fantasytalk

    The legendary voyage has been the best part of the game so far imo. Four hours worth of grinding legendary skeletons was so worth getting that screenshot with the legendary chest. Thanks for the invite on this one captain of sea.
