Does Rare and the developers ever intend on releasing a SDK or intend to support dedicated server hosting for the game?
I think that this game has the capability of having a massive foundation along with maintaining it for a long time... things like higher player limits, custom ships, possibilities are endless.
I haven't heard of any statements from the devs on whether or not they intend on supporting this idea, but I could only see everyone benefiting from it equally.
For a comparison, look at Ark: Survival Evolved for example, which also uses Unreal Engine 4. Massive playerbase, PvP, official and unofficial servers, and massive mod support.
If there are any Devs or Rare employees that see this, could you please leave feedback? Anyone else please feel free to share your thoughts as well.
