Xbox App on Windows 10 | How to find and add people?

    So i met some nice people in game and now i want to find them again. How can i find and add people who i met in the game in Xbox app?
    We were not in the same group. I have they're nicks but that "Friends & clubs" search only my existing friends, but have non because i just started using this app. I don't own Xbox. I play this game only on PC. I think these guys were playing on Xbox. Confusing. Adding people in PS4 is much easier or is this only Windows 10 problem with this app?

    I'm not exactly sure, BUT what I can tell you (and something to keep in mind) if when you do the "Make Friends" emote, and another pirate does it back, it automatically brings up the menu to add them as a friend. This is also an achievement when you do it for the first time!
